Happy New Year!  January 1^st is a day of new beginnings, resolutions, and ambitious first steps.  For some, these first steps will turn into second and third steps.  For others, step one is scribbled on a piece of paper to only to be lost in a pile of ticket stubs and grocery receipts.  For the year 2012, I am planning to take thirty-one steps.  Here follows thirty-one photos from life in Kenya; one photo for each day of January. There will be no specific theme or pattern to these postings, just a random sampling of adventures, funny moments, points of celebration, and everyday happenings. So keep an eye out for the photos to come, and Godspeed on those first, second, and three-hundred-and-sixty-fifth steps of 2012!
